Welcome to Protea Toastmasters Club

Club 2132 – District 74

We are a club which encourages and supports our members to become better public speakers by being creative and courageous when speaking or taking on leadership roles in our meetings.

We have a lot of fun, and because we represent a broad range of people in terms of age, gender, occupation, cultural background, mother tongues (english, hebrew, german, afrikaans, manderin, isixhosa, shona) we offer a Fun & Safe place for learning the craft of public speaking.

Real Live Testimonials

Toastmasters has helped to be fluid and flexible in the moment – Colin

After joining Toastmasters with much reservation - not in the organization but my own abilities - I have experienced tremendous growth in the year that I have been part of this great organisation. (Since 2007)

During this time I have been called on numerous occasions to address audiences from as few as 15 up to 200 strong in various capacities and have done so with far more self-confidence than ever imagined.

I have also met prominent leaders in the business community, locally and internationally, who are still or were at some point in their lives part of this fantastic organization and who enthusiastically endorse their membership and the Toastmasters Organisation in general.

I can personally only encourage all those I come into contact with to join and be part of this incredible group of like-minded individuals and to grow on more levels than they ever would have imagined. - Butch

Toastmasters taught me to believe (in ME) – Derek

Toastmasters inspires me to be the best I can be – René

It's about polishing, refining and achieving personal goals of self-development and leadership skill – Colin
